ONE MAN ARMY is a stakes-performing sire whose progeny statistics place him on par with some of the leading stallions in California, and who already boasts a Grade 1-winning son from limited opportunities.

ONE MAN ARMY raced exclusively on the tough Southern California circuit from the ages of 2 to 6. A versatile winner on both dirt and turf, he placed in Del Mar Thoroughbred Club's one-mile Oceanside Stakes after he defeated the 1998 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) winner and influential sire Awesome Again ($4,374,590) at Hollywood Park.

ONE MAN ARMY is by Roman Diplomat, a winning son of the European champion Roberto. He is a full brother to the multiple Grade 1-winning millionaire and sire Diplomatic Jet, who won or placed in 14 graded stakes races from the ages of 2 to 5.

ONE MAN ARMY entered stud in California in 2001, and enjoyed immediate success as a stallion. His first foal was the filly Soldier's Kiss, a stakes winner at Del Mar and Hollywood Park who earned $188,878. In his third crop, he was represented by nine winners from 11 starters (82%). His fifth crop, which includes 100% winners from starters, features the standout runner M One Rifle ($535,142), a talented sprinter who defeated subsequent Santa Anita Handicap (G1) winner Misremembered and 11 other rivals in Santa Anita Park's 2009 Malibu Stakes (G1) and who went on to set a Hollywood Park track record of :55.98 in a five-furlong stakes victory in 2011.

ONE MAN ARMY offers impressive sire statistics. From seven limited crops of racing age, he is represented by collective progeny earnings of more than $2.5 million, average earnings per starter of more than $57,000 and 64% winners from starters. More than one out of every four of his winners is a stakes performer, and eight of his runners have earned $100,000 or more. His Average Earnings Index of 1.39 ranks him among the top seven active California sires in this category, and he was the state's leading sire by median earnings per runner in 2009.
