Berkey Bloodstock was the 10th-leading buyer at the 2006 Keeneland November sale, purchasing nine broodmares for $2,109,000.

Berkey Bloodstock purchased HEALTHY ADDICTION (a G1 winner of $1,032,837) as a yearling at the Keeneland September Yearling sale for $100,000 as well as MISS HOUDINI (G1 winner of $870,600) and VIVID ANGEL* (G1 winner of $314,596).

Berkey Bloodstock has purchased 48 mares that have subsequently become stakes producers, including the dams of:

Utilizing a combination of pedigree analysis, nicking, conformation, intended purpose, budget and common sense, I have planned the breedings for 74 stakes horses, including:

Each year I purchase or sell many stallion seasons for my clients in all price ranges in both California and Kentucky. Breeders should check with a knowledgeable agent regarding current market conditions to ensure they pay fair prices for their seasons.

Appraisals

Equine values are very subjective, with auction sales providing the only true measure of current market value. But there are times when you need to know what your horse is worth without selling it at auction.
