CAHILL ROAD, a Grade 1 winner and full brother to Eclipse champion Unbridled, is Washington's leading active sire by lifetime progeny earnings. His runners have earned more than $19.1 million, collectively, with average earnings per starter of more than $46,000 and an Average Earnings Index of 1.09.

CAHILL ROAD was a runner of immense talent. He won the Grade 1 Wood Memorial Invitational Stakes at Aqueduct by three lengths, but was injured in that race and retired with career earnings of $370,280. He averaged $61,713 for each of his six starts, winning four races and placing in the other two.

CAHILL ROAD boasts a pedigree of the highest quality. He is by Fappiano, one of Mr. Prospector's most successful sons, and is a full brother to the 1990 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) and Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Unbridled ($4,489,475), one of the breed's most influential sires of the past two decades.

CAHILL ROAD is the sire of 52 stakes horses - 29 of them stakes winners, including six champions - and more than 30 individual $100,000-plus earners. His performance in the stud is remarkably consistent: his runners have banked more than $1 million annually in 10 of 15 racing seasons to date (1995-2009).

CAHILL ROAD's first Washington-conceived foals raced in 2003. From his eight locally sired crops, more than 110 of his sons and daughters have reached the winner's circle, topped by his back-to-back winners of the Longacres Mile Handicap (G3), Washington's most prestigious race: 2007 Washington Horse of the Year The Great Face ($340,159) and 2008 Washington Horse of the Year Wasserman ($518,549). He is also represented regionally by his Washington Champion 3-Year-Old Colt Spanish Highway and his Oregon Champion 2-Year-Old Colt Tom Won.

CAHILL ROAD stands at El Dorado Farms in Enumclaw, Washington. His 2010 fee is $2,500, live foal guarantee.
