CAPSIZED performed with versatility and consistency in graded stakes company through the age of 6.
  • Won the $200,000 Fourstardave Handicap (G3) at historic Saratoga Race Course and the $100,000 Steinlen Handicap on the turf at Arlington Park among his seven career wins from the distances of 6 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/8 miles.
  • Placed in graded stakes four times at Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita Park.
  • Ran second to eventual Eclipse Champion Sprinter Aldebaran in the $139,200 Nassau Handicap at Belmont Park.
  • Finished on the board in 19 of 25 starts - 11 of them stakes - and earned $489,593.
  • Won at racetracks from coast to coast on both dirt (fast and sloppy) and grass (firm and yielding). Won at four different tracks and placed in graded stakes races at two other tracks.

CAPSIZED was among California's leading first-crop sires of 2007 and leading second-crop sires of 2008. In 2009, he maintained his position as one of the state's top third-crop sires. From his first four crops of racing age, his progeny earnings total more than $850,000, led by the 2009 Del Mar stakes-placed runner Nitro Active ($138,260).
