Deputy Commander has sired two foreign champions along with 31 stakes horses in the U. S. and Canada, including two earners of more than $1,000,000 and 12 runners that have won or placed in graded stakes races. From the time they reached the age of 3, his runners have earned more than $3,000,000 annually for five consecutive years, including 2007, when they earned $3,815,470.

Deputy Commander's success in the stud was not surprising. He was a top-level racehorse, earning $1,906,640 while winning or placing in six graded stakes races, including victories in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes and the Grade 1 Super Derby and a second-place finish in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic.

Deputy Commander's pedigree is strong, top and bottom. His sire, Grade 1-winning Deputy Minister, was twice the leading sire in North America. His dam, a Grade 1 stakes winner of $952,354, is from an international female family that has produced stakes horses in seven countries.

     Deputy Commander's first California foals arrive in 2008. He is the sire of earners of more than $20,600,000.
