Dismissed, lightly bred over six seasons, has had only 12 starters, with eight winners of more than $160,000, most notably his daughter Ooh Yeah, who broke her maiden brilliantly in her first 3-year-old start last summer at Pleasanton and was immediately bought privately for $325,000. She won that maiden special weight race by 11 lengths, missing the 14-year-old track record for 5 1/2 furlongs by less than half a second, and followed with an allowance win at Del Mar later in the summer.

Dismissed, bred in Kentucky, started four times at 2 in England, winning one race and placing in three others, including the Group 2 Solario Stakes at Sandowne Park. Returned to his homeland at 4, he started only three times, including a second in an allowance race at Santa Anita, beaten only a head.

Dismissed is a product of a top-level mating: a Horse of the Year bred to a Grade 1 stakes-winning daughter of the great Nijinsky 2nd who has produced a Group 1 stakes winner. His female family boasts numerous stakes winners and his pedigree provides a double cross to the immortal Northern Dancer.
