FULLBRIDLED is a stakes-placed winner by Unbridled’s Song, the 1995 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) winner and $1,311,800-earner who is now a successful — and commercially popular — sire of sires. From 14 crops of racing age, Unbridled’s Song has sired 100 stakes winners and the collective earners of more than $85 million, including the Grade 1 winners Zensational, Midshipman, Thorn Song, Octave, Unbridled Elaine, Splendid Blended, Buddha and Songandaprayer, as well as the 2010 Breeders’ Cup Ladies' Classic (G1) winner, Unrivaled Belle.
FULLBRIDLED earned $115,240 from seven starts, with Equibase Speed Figures above 100 in each of his last five races, ranging as high as 120. He broke his maiden going 1 1/8 miles in 1:45 4/5 on the turf at Santa Anita Park, and won a 1 1/16-mile grass allowance at Hollywood Park in 1:41. He was second in a photo finish in the $200,000 Dallas Turf Cup Handicap at Lone Star Park, beaten only a head after leading all the way to the final strides of the 1 1/8-mile race.
FULLBRIDLED offers a regal pedigree to breeders. His broodmare sire is Relaunch, the influential sire whose daughters have produced more than 100 stakes winners, including 2004 Horse of the Year Ghostzapper. His female family boasts five champions and more than 50 stakes horses under the first three dams.
FULLBRIDLED is represented by his first crop of 5-year-olds in 2013. This group includes the Santa Anita Park winner Klassy Saint, who set a track record of :56.73 for five furlongs when he broke his maiden in his second career start. He has average earnings per starter of more than $20,000.
