Liberty Gold won or placed in graded stakes races at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, Keeneland and Churchill Downs, including the Grade 1 Metropolitan Handicap, and retired with earnings of $598,963.

Liberty Gold retired sound following a racing career that encompassed 44 starts over seven seasons. He won at Aqueduct, Belmont Park, Keeneland, Churchill Downs (equaling the track record for 7 1/2 furlongs), Saratoga and Monmouth Park, and recorded triple Beyer speed figures at four of those tracks. 

Liberty Gold won at distances ranging from six furlongs to a mile and a sixteenth. His ability was concentrated in the sprinter/miler area, the aptitude group that consistently produces the best sires.

His runners include stakes winners Cinderella Liberty (Washington champion 2-year-old filly--4 wins at 2, placed at 3, 2007, $94,918, Northwest Stallion Knights Choice S., Diane Kem S.) and Hesademon (3 wins at 2, 2007, $26,786, Alberta Bred S., Alberta Two-Year-Old Sales S..
