Matty G has sired 19 stakes horses--nine stakes winners, 10  stakes-placed. Led by millionaire Grade 2 winner My Cousin Matt ($1,013,274), his runners have earned more than $8,200,000. (Look below for the impressive list of his stakes horses.)

Matty G won the Grade 1 Hollywood Futurity at 2 and the Grade 3 Ascot Handicap at 3, along with two stakes placings at 3, one Grade 2. He earned almost all of his $443,275 at 2 and 3. He's siring the same kind of early developers--all but one of his stakes horses earned black type at 2 and/or 3, and seven of them did it at 2. 

Matty G is siring durability as well as quality. Twelve of his 19 stakes horses were still racing in 2007 at ages ranging from 2 to 7. His runners have averaged almost 16 starts each, and many of them are still racing and adding to that total.

Matty G was bred to be a runner and a sire. His sire is 2-year-old champion Capote, sire of 58 stakes winners.
