Perfect Mandate is a horse with near-perfect conformation. As a yearling, he sold at Keeneland for $550,000. As a 2-year-old, he went on to show his speed at the races with impressive fractions of :21.1 and :43.4 in his first start.

Perfect Mandate ran second in the $75,000 Sunny Slope Stakes at Santa Anita Park in only his second start, but an injury subsequently ended his highly promising racing career.

Perfect Mandate sires quality racehorses. Among his 14 stakes horses are 12 runners who have won or placed in black-type races. Three of his offspring have been weighted on the Experimental Free Handicap. To date, his runners have banked more than $3.7 million overall, with average earnings per starter of more than $36,000.
