Perfect Mandate is a horse with near-perfect conformation. As a yearling, he sold at Keeneland for $550,000. As a 2-year-old, he went on to show his speed at the races with impressive fractions of :21.1 and :43.4 in his first start. 

Perfect Mandate ran second in the $75,000 Sunny Slope Stakes at Santa Anita in his second start, but then an injury ended his highly promising racing career.
