Good Journey entered stud in the United States in 2007.

 

He initiated his stallion career in Australia during the 2003 Southern Hemisphere breeding season, and continues to shuttle to that country. He has sired 39 winners from that resulting group of runners, including Grand Journey (Aus), a Group 1 winner over colts and one of Australia’s leading fillies of her crop. He is also the sire of Group 2 winner Sound Journey (Aus), and the cumulative earners of more than $2,000,000 from his first five crops of racing age.

 

In 2007, Good Journey stood his initial season in California. His first U.S.-conceived foals are 2-year-olds of 2010, and include the 8 1/2-length Golden Gate Fields debut winner Farallon.
