He was Washington’s leading sire by progeny earnings in 2006, with $1,510,595, and repeated his reign as the state’s leading sire in 2007, with year-end progeny earnings of $1,645,975. He remained the leader in 2008 as well, with progeny earnings of $1,819,949. In 2009, he continued to hold the top rank in Washington for the fourth year in a row, with year-end progeny earnings of $1,366,582. He has also passed the seven-figure threshold again in 2010, with year-to-date progeny earnings of more than $1,100,000.

Overall, he is the sire of more than 220 winners. He has lifetime progeny earnings of more than $12,200,000 and average earnings per starter of more than $36,000. Among his 27 stakes horses, which include six graded/group stakes winners, are the millionaire My Cousin Matt, the 2009 Group 1 winner Krysia (Arg) and the 2010 stakes winners My Friend Nev and Lady Golightly.

Matty G is the 2010 leading sire of 2-year-olds in Washington, led by the stakes-winning filly Lady Golightly from his first crop of locally conceived foals.
