Stormy Jack.won stakes races in Southern California at 2, 3 and 4, placed in six others, including the Grade 2 Los Angeles Handicap, and was fourth in the Grade 1 San Carlos Handicap.

     Stormy Jack's first foals are 3-year-olds of 2008. He was California's second-leading freshman sire of 2007 with five winners from eight starters and is California's leading second-croip sire of 2008.
.    He's now the sire of eight winners, including Bob Black Jack (3 wins, $442,925, Sunshine Millions Dash S., California Breeders' Champion S., 2nd Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby, 3rd Grade 2 San Felipe S., all at Santa Anita), who set a new world record for six furlongs in winning the Sunshine Millions Dash Stakes. He was timed in 1:06.53. Earlier, he was weighted on the Experimental Free Handicap
     Other winners in 2007 were Stormy Racer at Del Mar and Santa Anita ($36,284), Hyper Speed Howard and Dr. Pooh at Bay Meadows, and Zee Anna's Wings at North Dakota Horse Park. All won their second career starts, three of them leading wire to wire. 
     Stormy Jack has added three other winners n 2008 and now has eight winners from that first crop. His runners have earned more than $550,000.
