What has Suzanne Cardiff done?

Jazz Ya, a 3-year-old filly, led all the way to win in maiden special weight company at Santa Anita October 17 in a blazing 1:33 3/5 for a mile on the turf. We're proud to have prepared the mare-mating research that produced Jazz Ya for Jim Schlagel and Dr. Joseph Sciarra.

Takin It Deep, winner of the 2001 California Derby, was chosen for his owner by Suzanne Cardiff in the Barretts May sale of 2-year-olds in training. She recommended the California-bred chestnut colt by Beau Genius out of Here's Lookn Adder, by Superbity, to client Milton A. Douzas of San Leandro, and he bought the future stakes winner for $22,000. He won seven races and earned $355,955.
