He is represented by average earnings per starter of more than $47,000. In 2006, he ranked as California’s leading overall sire — the same year his son Thor’s Echo ($2,441,990) won the Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1) and was honored as North America’s Eclipse Champion Sprinter.
SWISS YODELER earned $617,200 at 2, averaging $68,578 per start.
Among all North American colts, his earnings for the year were second only
to those of champion Boston Harbor.
SWISS YODELER was weighted at 120 pounds

colts, and ahead of Silver Charm (118), Free House (115), and Captain Bodgit

in 14 Southern California stakes--12 of them graded--at 2, 3, and 4 at
distances from 4 1/2 furlongs to 1 1/16 miles.
SWISS YODELER, undefeated in his first
five starts, climaxed his brilliant 2-year-old season with a wire-to-wire
victory in the Grade 1 Hollywood Futurity.
